The orientation session is the first step in getting to know ALTEN and receiving all the information you need about the company. Senior managers, your line manager and members of the support teams take part in the session to answer your questions.
The technical meeting is a major milestone in your integration into the company. It is your first direct meeting with your client and a chance to review their specific needs and understand how your skills will dovetail with their project. Your manager will already have ensured that your objectives match the client's needs and will take part in the technical meeting.
Site manager support
Many ALTEN consultants need to work on-site at the client's facilities.
Whenever possible, an ALTEN engineer is assigned as site manager for each client, acting as the ALTEN field representative and providing hands-on support for consultants throughout the project, with a special focus on new members of the consultancy team. Site managers are in constant contact with the company and ensure that you have the same high-quality relationship with ALTEN as you would if you were working on a project at one of our Delivery Centres.
A few weeks after joining the company, you will have a chance to meet a Human Resources representative to take stock of your integration into the company and your satisfaction with the project.
