ALTEN has been a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact since 2010. For the first time in summer 2014, the Group’s Communication On Progress was classified in the “Advanced” level. In 2016, ALTEN demonstrated again its commitment and the success of its sustainability advances by obtaining the renewal of its “Advanced” qualification for its last Communication On Progress.
Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.
This movement brings together thousands of participants in close to 150 countries. His first goal is to promote the social legitimacy of businesses and markets. Joining Global Compact means sharing the conviction that business practices, based on a number of universally recognized principles, contribute to the emergence of a more stable, equitable, open global market, and the development of prosperous and dynamic societies.
By signing the Global Compact, ALTEN is committed to integrating the 10 principles (human and labor rights, environment and anti-corruption battle) in its strategy and operations in a continuous improvement process, and communicate its best practices by publishing an annual Communication On Progress.
For the second consecutive year, ALTEN obtained the “Advanced” level, a qualification that rewards companies addressing in their Communications 21 additional criteria and best practices.
