ALTEN's business sectors in France

ALTEN generates 70% of its revenues in France, where the company was established in 1988.

A total of 6,500 consultants support the technology and IT departments of the French market leaders in industry and the services sector. The company's French operations are organised as four divisions:

TECHNO Paris (product development oriented)
This division designs, develops and manufactures products and systems for the aerospace & defence, energy & life sciences and land transport industries, leveraging strong expertise in systems engineering, embedded electronic systems and real-time software, mechanical engineering, command & control, and electrical engineering.

SIRT Paris (IT & Telecom oriented)
This division is positioned as a specialist in the implementation and restructuring of information systems, design and operation of IT and telecom infrastructure, and deployment of industry-specific solutions for the banking, finance and insurance industries.

REGIONS (product development & IT outside Paris)
This divison offers all of the company's services and provides complete coverage to the industrial and service sectors outside the Paris area.

SOLUTIONS
This division includes a group of subsidiaries specialised either in high-value niches of technological expertise (e.g. control laws or Microsoft technology) or transverse industries that work to meet project objectives and ensure a product's operational performance throughout its life cycle (e.g. project management, ergonomics, documentation and training).

More than 30% of ALTEN's French operations are organised as projects conducted either on our clients' premises or in one of our Delivery Centres in Paris or the French regions.
