Skills development
In order to offer its customers the expertises in adequacy with their needs and allow its employees to enrich and develop their skills, the ALTEN Group leads a dynamic skills management policy, through:
Mobility programme and career management
ALTEN have for ambition to favor the professional fulfilment of its employees by encouraging the internal mobility and career development.
As such, the mobility programme offers to its employees the opportunity to realize their wish of movement in France or abroad within other entities of the Group.
Career development leans on three kinds of interviews: the annual assessment interview, follow-up interviews and career interviews. ALTEN built professional development paths offering a visibility on the possible evolution towards design, project manager or business engineering positions

Diversity and equality of opportunity
The diversity and the equality of opportunity are subjects on whom the group ALTEN undertook for several years. About 70 different nationalities are represented within its staff today.
The group attempts to respect professional equality between men and women and took measures to promote the professional development of women and ensure fairness regarding pay. Also wishing to strengthen the recruitment of women within its teams, ALTEN provides its support to the Association “Elles bougent” working towards the feminization of the scientific jobs.
Moreover, within the framework of the seniors agreements signed with the staff representatives at the end of 2009, the Group’s companies defined objectives in terms of preservation in the employment and recruitment, professional training and follow-up of career of people aged 45 and.
Well-being in the work
In the context of strong competition, ALTEN needs more than ever an affirmed identity, rigorous ethics and to ensure the well-being of each of its employees if it is retain its position among the leaders.
In this respect, a method agreement on stress prevention was signed between the Management and Union Organisations of ALTEN SA and ALTEN SIR in October 2010. In particular, this agreement plans the launch of awareness-raising campaigns and training courses to which the managers will be invited, as well as a listening team allowing every worker to discuss their issues and concerns in complete confidence and confidentiality.
Personal fulfilment of ALTEN employees
ALTEN launched a new internal sponsoring charter to provide financial support to solidarity projects introduced by its employees. Whether in the cultural, humanitarian or social domain, they bring values which are coherent with those of the group. ALTEN values its workers and does not hesitate to inform them about such initiatives.
As an example, ALTEN supported the sports and humanitarian challenge taken up by a member of its employees with the objective of collecting funds for an orphanage in the Congo.
