Engineering excellence

ALTEN is a company of multidisciplinary engineers with a shared sense of belonging to a high-tech environment focused on creativity, innovation and problem-solving.

Reflecting this results-oriented culture, we are a long-standing partner of the Engineer of the Year Award organised by Usine Nouvelle, during which we award the innovation prize to one engineer for an exceptionally bold and creative industrial project.

We provide our employees with regular training in order to ensure technical and methodological excellence. Team spirit

Teamwork is essential to the success of our projects, all of which bring people with different skills together over a given period of time. We encourage any idea that unites our employees, such as technical seminars and more informal information sessions in our various centres of expertise.

We also participate every year in student projects that reflect our human and community values. Whether they involve sports (EDHEC sailing race, Raid Centrale race), humanitarian work (4L Trophy rally) or business challenges (WinStrat), we love to support feats of human ingenuity that highlight the importance of shared objectives, tenacity and the ability to function as a team.

Diversity

As a company made up of men and women with multidisciplinary skills, ALTEN naturally promotes diversity in all of its forms.

We are engaged in ongoing efforts to encourage female high school students to pursue careers in science, and to increase the percentage of women engineers in industry (currently less than 18% in France). Our work with the association Elles Bougent alongside EADS, Safran, Dassault, PSA, Alstom, Thales, SNCF and several engineering schools is based on concrete action, human contact and maintaining close relations with diverse groups of students.
