Superbike and the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Team

For over 35 years, the Superbike World Championship (SBK) has been the first competition for motorcycles derived from production models, typically designed for road use.

Since 2015, two Italian companies, Aruba and Ducati, have been racing together on the track to provide thrilling experiences for all racing enthusiasts. The team, driven by a common goal of victory with the Panigale V4 R, is composed of 30 professional technicians and two riders: Alvaro Bautista, a Spanish native who was crowned SBK World Champion in 2022, and Michael Rinaldi, an Italian rider who finished 4th in 2022.

ALTEN, Technical Sponsor

ALTEN is proud to be part of this project and joins the Aruba.it Racing-Ducati Team as a technical sponsor, marking its logo on the left side of the Ducati Panigale V4R’s fairing.

At the Heart of Thrills

By joining this project, ALTEN dives into the emotions and thrills that drive the team for the Superbike 2023 season. From Assen in the Netherlands in April, where Alvaro Bautista reached the milestone of 400 Superbike victories for Ducati, to Misano, Italy, in June, where Bautista dominated the race to secure another triple victory, the third of the season for the Spanish rider.

“It was a weekend full of emotions. After the issue I had in Race-1, during the Superpole Race, where I was unfortunately involved in contact with Michael. I am really sorry that he fell, but you have to believe me: I couldn’t do anything to avoid the contact. Race-2 was really good for me because the sensations were extraordinary from the first to the last lap.”

These are Álvaro Bautista’s words after the French Round, in Magny-Course, in early September.

Alvaro Bautista is therefore defending his lead in the championship, while his teammate, Michael Rinaldi, is fighting his way up the rankings.

We will know the 2023 World Superbike Champion at the end of October, until then, we can only continue to support this passionate team that provides us with thrilling emotions and remarkable victories.
